Aitkin? I am confounded as to why Aitkin, like so many other small towns, is struggling with giving its citizens a quality of life that is 'above average'. There are plenty of examples of successful towns that are achieving this.
WHY ARENT WE THE ...... SAFEST, CLEANEST, COOLEST AND 'LOADED WITH OPPORTUNITY' TOWN IN THE COUTNRY?
Why are the elderly, who comprise a majority of thsi towns population, kept off to the side when thery are jam-packed with experience and information etc. and... the same goes for the youth although in a far different way... different level or path. Old and new cast aside as the status quo keep us laden with a 'nothingness' and a fear of the evilest word in Aitkns vocabulary... CHANGE!I spent a lil time on some key issues last week and will expaand on them this week. I hope to have a locataion soon where we would to shoot a 'live' show and make it interactive... where we gather these core issues/problems and their resolutions and bring these citizens of all ages to their forefront and 'get to work'.
Naive? I'm just trying to make some positive changes for all folk and life itself but I am also quite selfish in that this is also about my... staying sober! LM
